This is the sealing of natural fissures on the surface of the teeth. It consists in filling fissures and hollows in premolars and molars with fissure sealant.
Deep and narrow fissures do not allow them to be thoroughly cleaned with a toothbrush. This facilitates the growth of bacteria and promotes the formation of caries. Varnish precisely fills the gaps on the surface of the teeth, preventing the accumulation of food debris and thus preventing decay.
Sealing is completely painless and addressed mainly to children. The best results are achieved when the sealing procedure is carried out immediately after the tooth eruption.
